Dr. Marjorie Jackson to be Associate Dean of Student Academic Services in Hillyer

Please join me in welcoming Dr. Marjorie Jackson who will be the Associate Dean for Student Academic Services in Hillyer College, beginning July 1, 2022. Dr. Jackson currently teaches Academic Strategies and Psychology in Hillyer, and in Education at the University of Hartford; she came to the University of Hartford after many years in the Hartford Public School system as a teacher and administrator. Her current research on mindfulness and its placement in the curriculum is supported by a Coffin grant. Her expertise in teaching and supporting students from diverse backgrounds and her long commitment to Hillyer College’s mission make her an excellent choice for our college.
