Ivana Milanovic Led Ansys Academic Webinar

Ansys Academic Webinar Series highlights ways to strengthen curricula and provide students with an improved learning experience. Ivana Milanovic, professor of mechanical engineering, CETA, led a live webinar session on How to Implement Simulations and Certifications for any Course.

The webinar showcased a systematic approach to simulation-supported learning in lecture courses and how to embed this learning method in any science or engineering undergraduate curriculum. Milanovic used examples and experiences from her thermo-fluids courses run at the University of Hartford to illustrate the learning and evaluation method, supporting materials, and the most critical outcomes. Additionally, she discussed the opportunity to add more value to students by offering certification in simulation technology as a part of coursework.
