The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) recently announced the election of our very own Director of Radiologic Technology, Daniel DeMaio, MEd, R.T.(R)(CT), as their President-Elect. This prestigious appointment follows a selection process, during which DeMaio demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities and a commitment to advancing the field of radiologic technology.
As President-Elect, Professor DeMaio will assume a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the ASRT, working alongside esteemed colleagues on the 2024-25 ASRT Board of Directors. His position commences on July 1, 2024.
Professor DeMaio brings to this esteemed position a wealth of experience and expertise garnered through years of dedicated service in the field of radiology. His passion for education and innovation has not only enriched the academic landscape at the University of Hartford but has also left an indelible mark on the broader radiologic technology community.
