Nominations for the 2026 MLK Beloved Community Awards

The Office of Inclusive Excellence and Belonging invites nominations for the 2026 MLK Beloved Community Awards. These awards recognize and celebrate members of our community whose actions exemplify and honor the spirit of Dr. King’s Beloved Community.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. envisioned a society grounded in justice, equal opportunity, and love for one another. Through his words and leadership, he called on us to create positive change, listen deeply, learn from diverse perspectives, and take meaningful action. His legacy challenges us to continue building a more inclusive and compassionate world.

Submit your nomination by Friday, Dec. 19. Award recipients will be announced in UNotes and recognized during the Annual MLK Observance Program on Feb. 3, 2026.
