Department of Psychology Announces Sharmon Kennedy's Retirement

After 25 years at the University, Sharmon Kennedy will be retiring. She has served as a loyal and dedicated Office Coordinator in the Department of Psychology. Her outstanding work and support was recognized by the College of Arts and Sciences when she received the Barbara Cooke Staff Appreciation Award not once, but twice—in 2015 and 2020.

In addition, the University recognized her exemplary service by awarding her a well-deserved “Outstanding Staff Award” in 2015. Sharmon’s primary duty was overseeing fiscal matters—she has managed a complex budget with an unparalleled understanding of TEVs, Banner, IDTs, purchase orders, and all things budget! Life in the Department will not be the same without her. She will be missed immensely!

Her last day is Monday, Dec. 1. If you would like to wish her well, please stop by East Hall between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. that day!
