Professor Stephan Bullard Publishes New Book

Professor Stephan Bullard has published a new book, COVID-19: The First Six Months, a detailed day-by-day account of the pandemic’s early global spread. The book traces the virus’s escalating impact, examining its epidemiological, medical, social, and cultural consequences as events unfolded around the world.

Bullard, chair of Hillyer’s math and science department, brings years of research and storytelling experience to the work. He is the author or co-author of several notable books, including The Silver Bridge Disaster of 1967, A Day-by-Day Chronicle of the 2013–2016 Ebola Outbreak, and Three Mile Island, Chernobyl and Fukushima: Curse of the Nuclear Genie. As with his teaching, Bullard’s enthusiasm for both the subjects and the investigative process shines through in his writing.
