Hartt's Régulo Stabilito Named Conductor of Connecticut Youth Symphony

The Hartt School Community Division is pleased to appoint Régulo Stabilito as conductor of the Connecticut Youth Symphony—the premier high school age orchestra in the region.

Stabilito has served since 2025 as director of Orchestras and assistant professor of Orchestra Studies and Conducting at The Hartt School. He is world-renowned for his dynamic leadership, dedication to the Latin American repertoire, and firm belief in music’s transformative power.

Established more than 100 years ago, The Hartt School Community Division (HCD) seeks to deliver high quality, authentic performance opportunities for all. HCD offers 15 innovative large instrumental ensembles and more than 30 small ensembles. Led by distinguished ensemble directors and coaches, students receive rigorous training in a dynamic and supportive environment.
