At UHart, you will be joining a dynamic community with diverse backgrounds, interests and perspectives. Beyond just landing a job after graduation, we empower you to rise quickly in your field.
UHart faculty practice what they teach — as artists, researchers, entrepreneurs, scientists and downright brilliant scholars. Your classmates may be future engineers, teachers, architects or Broadway actors. Whatever your path, we’ll be there to support you every step of the way.

Home for Innovation. Room to Grow. The Hursey Center, UHart's newest academic building, opened up to student in the fall. The 60,000-square-foot academic building in the academic quad, houses new, specialized, and technology-rich facilities for our growing programs in the College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions and the College of Engineering, Technology and Architecture.
As student interests evolve and industry changes continue, the University of Hartford is responding with new programs that are poised to offer hands-on experiences and exciting employment prospects.
The University of Hartford has an ambitious strategic action plan to transform the institution, ensure excellence, and sustain success. Included in the plan are campus improvements, promoting a vibrant, diverse, inclusive, and socially just community and much more. This is where we're going. Together.
The UHart story can't be told by numbers alone. We're too inquisitive, energetic, and fun for that.
But it's as good a place as any to start.
International Studies, Politics and Government, and minor in French, 2023
After learning about different cultures and broadening her knowledge and interest in foreign affairs, Benedicta chose to study abroad in Seoul, South Korea, at Yonsei University’s Underwood International College, where she took courses in diplomacy and international negotiations.
In addition to her academic life, Benedicta is involved in clubs and organizations. She is currently a member of the Leadership, Education, and Development (LEAD) 2023 cohort, the Newman Club, and serves as a College of Arts and Sciences Ambassador and is a residential assistant.
UHart is a community, and that is my favorite part about it. Whether you are in clubs, organizations, or classes, it always feels like you are part of this big family because everyone is willing to help you succeed in and out of the classroom.
