GSU is the hub of the University of Hartford campus. It serves as a gathering place for students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, and guests of the University, who take advantage of its many services.

The Konover Campus Center, adjacent to a small pond, provides a large hall for lectures, movies, concerts, dances, and other events and also houses the Village Market and Subway. It is managed and reserved through the Gengras Student Union Office in GSU 205.

Friday, 7:30 a.m.–7 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 11 a.m.–6 p.m.

Subway and Village Market hours are extended. Locations and menus dining services hours.

 

The Harrison Libraries consist of the general collection in the Mortensen Library and the music and dance collection in the Allen Library. The Mortensen Library is the general library at the University of Hartford and houses all of the library's collections with the exception of music. The Allen Library houses music and dance materials and supports The Hartt School programs.

Hours of operation

The Sports Center provides fitness facilities and an indoor pool to its membership and hosts intercollegiate competition through its venues, which include Chase Arena at Reich Family Pavilion, Al-Marzook Field at Alumni Stadium, and Fiondella Field.

Accessing the Sports Center

The second-floor fitness center inside the Sports Center is open to undergraduate and graduate students. Due to the potential high rate of virus transmission, membership locker rooms will be closed this semester. Towels and locks will not be available. Masks will be required in the building at all times. There will be a door thermometer at the entrance to serve as a temperature check. Also in place will be a monitoring system that will help Sports Center staff track capacity limits within the fitness center in accordance with Connecticut state guidelines.

  • Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 25–26, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Friday, Aug. 27, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Saturday, Aug. 28: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Normal Hours for Fall Semester (beginning Monday, Aug. 30):

  • Monday–Friday: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday: 8 a.m.–6 p.m.
