Hawks Landed

Once our hawks fly, they officially become alumni. See where some of our recent graduates have landed.

Michaela Mueller ’20

Michaela Mueller, a civil engineering major, did two summer internships during her time at UHart. During both, she gained insight, experience and skills. It was the summer before her senior year at UHart that one of those internships lead to her being hired in her field before graduation. Her experiences in and out of the classroom shaped her future career.
Aleks Nowicki '20

Graduating senior, Aleks Nowicki, has committed to a position as a transportation engineer at the Connecticut Department of Transportation (DOT) in the Traffic Project Design Unit. This opportunity presented itself at a lunch and learn event for engineering students.
Aurian Emami '20

It was through hard work, utilizing campus supports, and academic connections that Aurian Emami, senior in the College of Engineering, Technology, and Architecture (CETA), landed a full time position prior to graduation as a pharmacy automation engineer at Cigna. He will graduate with a BS in electromechanical engineering technology.

Mikhail Thomas

Civil Engineering, 2016

Thomas is currently a bridge design engineer for the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation (ConnDOT) while pursuing his MEng and MBA at UHart. He credits the University for giving him many opportunities to grow personally and professionally.

I saw UHart as a partner in my future, investing in my potential while helping alleviate barriers such as finances. I am very grateful for having access to professors and other administrative leaders who were essential for academic understanding and professional guidance.
