Rachel Addai ’24 has been fortunate to secure multiple scholarships, aiding significantly in covering her tuition expenses here at the University of Hartford.

Among these, several were competitive scholarships, adding to the value of the recognition. “Scholarships serve as a crucial relief from the financial strains often associated with pursuing higher education. With the staggering costs of college, a considerable number of graduates find themselves with substantial financial debt upon graduation. The financial assistance offered through scholarships not only relieves the pressure of tuition but also provides support for both myself and my family, providing a sense of security and teaching me the valuable lesson that diligence and focus can lead to the reward of such opportunities. The absence of scholarships would potentially leave me with an overwhelming amount of student debt upon graduation.”

“Driven by my ambition to hold a career as an international lawyer, I am dedicated to maintaining my steady focus and performing at my best. The exposure and experiences offered by the University of Hartford have presented me with a multitude of opportunities. The combination of securing scholarships, the guidance of the faculty on campus, and the challenging coursework has truly made this journey worthwhile, and now one step closer to my ultimate career goals”
