Required Exit Counseling for Graduates with Perkins Loans

Are you graduating? Were you the recipient of a Federal Perkins Loan while attending the University of Hartford?

Upon graduating or dropping below half-time status, you must complete an Exit Interview for the Federal Perkins Loan to ensure that borrowers understand the terms of their loan repayment.

To complete your exit, please login to your ECSI account at www.heartlandecsi.com. If you have never logged in, you will need to register and create a new profile first. Once logged in, click on University of Hartford. Then, select the Documents tab and click on Review and Sign beside the note you wish to sign. Then, follow the step-by-step instructions. NOTE: You will need to disable your browser’s pop-up blocker to complete the exit.

Please note that you may also have to complete a Federal Stafford Loan Exit Interview at www.studentaid.gov, which is separate from the Federal Perkins Loan Exit Interview.

Please be advised that failure to comply with the Exit Interview requirement will prevent the release of your transcripts and/or diploma. We look forward to your prompt attention in this matter in order to adhere to Federal Regulations.
