Thank You and Good Luck to Dorice Dorvilier
It is with sadness and appreciation that we share Dorice Dorvilier will be moving on from the University of Hartford. Dori has accepted a position with Achievement First as an Alumni Success Counselor where she will be advising Achievement First students through the transition from high school to college and into their career paths as they complete their undergraduate degrees.
Anyone who has come to know Dori in her five years at UHart knows her passion and dedication to providing every opportunity for students to feel welcomed, included, and realize their potential. She has served in many roles during her time here including as a Resident Director in Residential Life, First-Year Advisor and Assistant Director in the Center for Student Success, Covid Response team member, and advisor to numerous student organizations. She was always ready to lend a hand when needed and was always well connected to the pulse of the student body. It is an understatement to say we will miss her greatly but wish her the very best as she continues to positively impact the lives of many students.
We will be hosting a farewell gathering for Dori in GSU 331 this Friday, March 11 from 3:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m. Dori's last day will be Friday March 18.
