New Assistant Director for Returning and Graduate Students

I am excited announce Jasmine Lopez (she/her) has been selected as the new Assistant Director for Returning and Graduate Students, Office of Residential Life. In this role she is responsible for the community development, student engagement and learning, and management of our residential communities housing returning and graduate students. Jasmine will supervise the Resident Directors who oversee Park River, Regents Park, and the Village Apartments.  

Jasmine joined the Office of Residential Life in the fall of 2019 as a Resident Director, most recently overseeing the Regents Park/Park River area. Jasmine has a M.S. in Higher Education and Student Development from Central Connecticut State University and a B.S. in Social Work from Southern Connecticut State University. Jasmine is passionate about creating platforms and increasing confidence among marginalized groups; looking for solutions for increased student and staff experience; and shining light on the individual strengths of students and student leaders to empower them. In her free-time, Jasmine enjoys spending time with family and friends, trips to the beach, headlining concerts in her car, and shopping.
