Farewell David Boot

After almost 6 years as the University's Payroll Manager, David Boot's last day with the University is Oct. 21, 2022. Initially, Dave graduated from the university as a member of the Class of 2001, and returned to the University in 2016 in order to oversee the revitalization of Banner as the University's payroll system. Later David also implemented Kronos for time cards for certain employees around campus. 

Outside of Payroll, David was always willing to help answer any question you may have (even if it turned into a lesson of various Banner screens no one had ever heard of), and helped any member of the community who needed it. He was quick to tell you a story of his memories as a student at the University, and that fondness for those memories was always evident in each story. 

Although we are excited for him in the next step in his journey, the University community will surely miss Dave. Please stop by the Payroll office on Friday, October 21, to wish him the best of luck, and to hear one last story about that Friday night in the Villages, and where they got all of that sand.
