The online call for the 2023 Alexander A. Goldfarb Juried Student Exhibition is now live.
The annual Goldfarb Exhibition invites all current students at the University of Hartford to submit up to two works of art to be selected for exhibition by an invited juror. This year's juror is Sam Adams, the Ellen Johnson '33 Assistant Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Allen Memorial Art Museum at Oberlin College. Of those chosen, two undergraduate students will receive purchase prizes of $1,000 each, and the winning students' work will become a part of the Goldfarb Memorial Collection, owned by the Hartford Art School and displayed in public spaces on campus. 
The deadline to submit is January 3, 2023. The exhibition opens at Joseloff Gallery on January 26 and runs through February 11, 2023Please see the Art Call website for details and direct any questions to Gallery Manager Sydney Samele (samele@hartford.edu).
