Ryan Speedo Green '08 Wins The Metropolitan Opera's 2023 Beverly Sills Artist Award

Ryan Speedo Green '08, an alumnus of The Hartt School, has been named the winner of the 2023 Beverly Sills Artist Award by The Metropolitan Opera. The Beverly Sills Artist Award is given to exceptional rising singers at the Met. This is the second time he has received this honor.

After earning his bachelor’s degree in music at Hartt, Green went on to win numerous singing competitions, eventually becoming an international opera star with numerous credits to his name. He received his second Grammy Award this past February.
