“I volunteer for the University of Hartford and the Alumni Association because I am at a point in my career that I can reflect back on mu experiences at UHA and how they shaped me into the person and professional I am today. I served on the Alumni Board when I first graduated and was able to pull from my experiences as a student. Now, 20 years later, as a local government professional and a woman in a leadership/management role in a male-dominated industry, I feel it is my duty to give back to the school that shaped me. I loved my UHA experience and want to help by being a role model as well as an ambassador of such a wonderful school.”
