“Them” is an evening-length dance performance that explores how human beings relate, play, attach and experience constant change that features group works choreographed by five senior dance artists Colby Connelly, Blue Richardson, Hannah Davis, Isis Schwellenbach and Alexzander Larson. In collaboration with The Hartt School’s Composition Department, led by Professor Robert Carl, composers RJ Dion, Davis Martin, Jennifer Citarelli, and Dawson Atkin have created four original music scores. These composers have created unique environments for each choreographer, supporting the concepts developed in the creative and collaborative processes.

In addition to the group works, each senior will perform a commissioned solo from professional choreographers Gabrielle Lamb, Hannah Garner, Rebecca Woll, Amy Hall Garner and Samuel Roberts. The choreographers provided choreographic expertise in the creation and/or restaging of these works. These solos highlight the seniors’ growth, dedication, versatility and most importantly their artistry as performers.
