Jessica York to Leave the University June 30

It is with the usual mixed feelings that I announce that Jessica York will be leaving the university for an exciting new opportunity as Associate Dean of Faculty at Tunxis Community College. Her last day here is June 30. Jessica arrived at the university in 2019 as Assistant Dean for Academic Services in the College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions and was later promoted to Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. Since 2021 she has served on the Provost’s staff as the Dean of Graduate Studies and Research. Immediately prior to joining the University of Hartford Jessica was at Post University for six years, finishing as Associate Professor, Director of Education Programs, and Program Chair for Higher Education Administration. Please join me in thanking Jessica for her service to the university and wishing her well in this and all of life’s adventures.
