Acoustical Society of America Students Visit Bose

On Oct. 21, a group of students from the UHart chapter of the Acoustical Society of America (ASA), visited Bose headquarters in Massachusetts!

 

Students witnessed demonstrations of consumer products and car audio systems, toured various facilities on the Framingham campus, and reconnected with several alumni of the acoustics program that now work for Bose.

 

Acoustical Engineering and Music major Aidan Lueth '24, shared her thoughts regarding the experience, "It was great to get out into the industry and see the facilities of one of the most successful audio and acoustics technology companies" She added, "It was inspiring to see how they are applying things we have learned in the classroom to products we all know and love. Plus, it was a fun bonding experience between the different classes of acoustics students. We hope to have more trips like this in the future!"

 

The Acoustical Engineering and Music program provides students the opportunity to blend a passion for music with an interest in engineering.
