University Launches Search for Provost

The University of Hartford has initiated a search to permanently fill the role of provost, with the goal of announcing a chosen candidate in the late spring.

A recently formed search committee has been tasked with overseeing the process and will begin meeting this month. Members will also work with senior consultants from Academic Search to recruit candidates nationwide, identify top contenders, and coordinate applications and scheduling.

Applicants are expected to apply by March, and may be invited for interviews later that month, with finalist interviews taking place in April. The provost role is anticipated to be officially filled in mid-summer.
