ASCE Civil Engineering Career Club Hosting a Water Career Exploration Event
On Thursday, Feb. 9, from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. in the Makerspace (HC 216), the ASCE Civil Engineering Career Club will host a Water Career Exploration event. Five panelists who are part of the CT Section of the American Water Works Association will give a presentation on their varied roles in the water industry. The panelists are engineers and scientists who work in the water sector in planning, design, construction, operation, and administration and represent private and public-sector employers. It is a great opportunity to learn about the many options open to engineers and scientists. There will be ample time for you to ask questions and informally network with these professionals. Pizza will be provided!
