  • One letter of recommendation from a high school teacher or counselor

Visiting UHart

Families on a campus tour at UHart

As you know, one of the most valuable ways students explore their college options is by visiting campus.

On our 350-acre campus, with its green spaces and wooded trails, students get a firsthand look at life at UHart. Guided by current students, they can ask questions, experience the community, and see what makes our campus unique. We aim for every visitor to leave feeling like UHart could be home.

Keeping Hawks Healthy

Wellness Wednesdays in GSU

At the University of Hartford, your students’ health, well-being, and safety are at the heart of what we do.

Through the Division of Student Success, we provide a range of resources to keep them thriving. Access to an on-campus medical center, counseling and psychological services, EMS-trained public safety officers, and a newly renovated fitness center provides the support they need to feel safe, cared for, and ready to succeed.

Hired Before Graduation

Student mock interviewing for a job

At UHart, student success isn’t just a priority, it’s who we are.

We go beyond helping students build resumes or search for jobs. We challenge them to explore career paths, develop new skills, pursue advanced degrees, and connect with industry professionals. The result? Graduates who are ready to thrive beyond college—many of whom secure jobs even before walking across the stage.
