At this time, Summer Conference Housing spaces are fully booked for Summer 2024. We look forward to working with you next summer!

UHart's Summer Conference Housing program provides interns from the Greater Hartford area and Montessori Training Program students with a beautiful campus to call their home for a few weeks or the entire summer. The University is the perfect place for rest and work-life balance. We offer apartment-style housing through our Office of Residential Life. Our spaces offer more than a place to sleep, guests will have access to the University Commons, GSU Cafe, Sports Center, and meeting spaces around the campus and 24/7 Public Safety Security.

Our newly renovated two-to-three-bedroom apartments offering single and double occupancy bedrooms, one-to-two bathrooms, kitchen, and living room. All bedrooms, kitchen, living room, and community lounge spaces are fully furnished.

The University is committed to a safe, friendly, and welcoming environment for our guests to live, learn, work, and play. Our campus’ entrance is monitored by Public Safety. There are blue light emergency phones with a direct link to Public Safety located throughout campus.

Feel the comfort of home as soon as you arrive. Each apartment includes basic table service, cooking supplies, paper starter kit (tissues, paper towels, and toilet paper), and cleaning supplies.

Yes! Our linen package includes 2 bath towels, 1 face cloth, 1 fitted sheet, 1 flat sheet, 1 pillowcase, 1 pillow, and 1 blanket.

Move-in and move-out is 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. on the days designated in your Housing Agreement. Additional details regarding the check-in and check-out process will be shared with you closer to your specific move-in and move-out dates. Actual housing assignments will be provided to guests at check-in. Please contact us about after hour arrivals.

All utilities are included! There are no separate bills or contracts–no hidden fees! Utilities include A/C, water, heat, electric, WIFI, trash and recycling removal.

The University will assign a roommate and/or apartment-mates based on the program in which you will be participating and the type of housing you have requested. Any roommate (for those in double-occupancy bedrooms) and/or apartment-mate requests must be mutual and made in advance. Roommate and/or apartment-mates will be housed together as space allows. The ORL will assign a roommate and/or apartment-mates if students do not list a preferred roommate and/or apartment-mates, requests are not mutual, and/or space does not allow. Actual housing assignments will be provided to guests at check-in.
