Campus Life & Events
Connections outside of the classroom—with friends, roommates, colleagues, classmates, clubs and organizations—are all an important part of the overall UHart experience.
Life on Campus
We are confident that as more of our community gets vaccinated, we will ease many of our COVID-19 restrictions and that campus will feel “more normal” this fall. We look forward to resuming more in-person activities.
Clubs and Organizations
Our clubs and organizations, along with the Office of Student Engagement and Inclusion, hosted dozens of events this spring, including Trivia Tuesdays, Wellness Wednesdays, Friday Flicks, and more. Many of those new traditions will continue.
The Fitness Center is now closed for all students, staff/faculty, and outside members through the summer of 2021. Watch for updates later this summer on hours for the fall.
The University will not be hosting public events for the foreseeable future.
Most events will be virtual, but there are some events that can be outdoors, if social distancing is possible and crowd size limits are followed. Attendance and participation in events will be limited to members of the UHart community.
Admission Events and Campus Tours
We know it is is important for families to visit campus before students officially commit to attend. We are offering mainly outdoor walking tours, and are limiting the number of guests, practicing social distancing, and requiring everyone to wear masks at all times.
