Campus Life & Events
Connections outside of the classroom—with friends, roommates, colleagues, classmates, clubs and organizations—are all an important part of the overall UHart experience. We are looking forward to resuming more in-person activities this fall!
Life on Campus
Clubs and Organizations
With very few exceptions, on-campus events will be limited to members of the University community for at least the first four weeks of the semester. At the end of that time period, we will review current health conditions on campus and in the surrounding community to determine whether we can open events to others.
We started new traditions last year, including Trivia Tuesdays, Wellness Wednesdays, Friday Flicks, and more. Many of these will continue.
The second-floor fitness center inside the Sports Center is open to undergraduate students.
With very limited exceptions, the University will not be hosting public events until four weeks into the fall semester at the earliest. At the end of that time period, we will review current health conditions on campus and in the surrounding community to determine whether we can offer events.
Admission Events and Campus Tours
We know it is is important for families to visit campus before students officially commit to attend. We are offering mainly outdoor walking tours, and are limiting the number of guests, practicing social distancing, and requiring everyone to wear masks while indoors.
